About Enid Doggett
Enid Doggett is president of INSPR Media (www.insprmedia.com) , a company that helps small businesses through innovative communications. She has more than 20 years of experience in the marketing communications and journalism and has been labeled a ‘media maven” by the Washington Post. She has provided media consultation for the National Women’s History Museum, Pepsi Cola, The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF), the National SAFEKids Campaign, the Democratic National Committee, the AFL-CIO , Wyeth Laboratories, the Campaign for America’s Future, the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) and several local businesses. She was the very first full-time press secretary for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation and has worked for the Associated Press, WTOP-AM, Greer, Margolis , Mitchell & Burns and Ketchum PR. For the last four years she has been the communications training coordinator for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Political Boot Camp, a week-long training program for young aspiring political leaders of color. Her journalism career includes stints with Associated Press, WTOP-AM and WHUR-FM. She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists, Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Black Data Professional Associates (BDPA) and the National Press Club. Enid is the recipient of several awards including a “Pollie” from the American Association of Political Consultants and a Silver Advil from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Enid was featured in the June 2012 issue of PR Week as a “D.C. Influencer.” She is a graduate of the Ohio University School of Journalism.
